NOTE: The minimum class size is 5 students. If an enrollment of at least 5
students in a class is not attained by the Wednesday prior to class, paid
students with reservations will be "rolled over" to the next available date.
Students will not be "rolled over" more than twice. If on the 2nd rollover,
the class size is still less than 10 students, the class will be conducted.
As of January 2010, the class fee is $150 for certification with two firearms
for your NM CCW license, which will be reflected on the license by caliber
and category. For example, if you qualify with a .45 semi-auto, the license
will state "SEMIAUTO, .45 or smaller caliber."
Length of Course: minimum 15 hours
Day 1 (Classroom) 0800 to 1600:

Introductions: 0800 to 0830
Lesson I: Introduction to Concealed Carry Safety and the Defensive
Mindset: 0830 to 0930
Lesson II: Introduction to Self-Defense and Concealed Carry: 0930 to 1030
Lesson III: Legal Aspects of Concealed Carry and Self-Defense: 1030 to
1130 (or, 1200)
Lunch Break: 1200 to 1300
Lesson III Continued: 1300 to 1400
Lesson IV: Carry Modes and Handgun Concealment: 1400 to 1500
Lesson VIII: Sport Shooting Activities and Training Opportunities: 1500 to
1530
Lesson IX: Course Review and Examination: 1530 to 1600
DAY 2 (Classroom and Range)
Lesson V: Presenting the Handgun from Concealment: 0800 to 0930
Lesson VI: Presentation, Position, and Movement: 0930 to 1130
Lunch Break: 1130 to 1230
Lesson VII: Special Shooting Techniques: 1230 to 1500
Final Practice and CCW Qualification: 1500 to 1700
